Starting Sept 27 and aligned with the software transition, we’re significantly changing how we operate. We introduce Idle fees or Penalty Fees, they are the same and are here, not as a burden, but as a way forward. They’re not just rules but our commitment to a smoother charging experience.

The transition is designed to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly charging experience while enhancing the efficiency of our charging network.
How can I access the Velocicharge APP?
You can download the Velocicharge APP for free from your device’s app store.
Will my current ChargeLab account work with the Velocicharge APP?
Unfortunately, your current ChargeLab account will not work with the Velocicharge App. Users are required to register for a new account specifically on the Velocicharge App.
Are there any new features in the Velocicharge APP?
Yes, the Velocicharge APP introduces new ways to charge based on your preferences: By Budget, By Time, and By KWH. It also offers enhanced notifications and a user-friendly interface.
What are "Idle Fees," and why are they implemented?
Idle Fees are charges for keeping your vehicle connected to the charger after your session is complete. They are implemented to encourage users to free up charging stations for others, making the experience fair for all.
How do I set my favorite charging location on the Velocicharge APP?
Simply go to your preferred station, tap on it, and select “Add to Favorites or touch the hearth symbol.” You can then easily find and navigate to your favorite stations.
How do I receive notifications on the Velocicharge APP?
You can manage your notification preferences in the app settings. You’ll receive alerts for session updates, station availability, and more.
What happens to my charging history and data from ChargeLab?
Your charging history and data from ChargeLab will not be transferred to the Velocicharge App. However, our new software will provide you with a detailed transaction history and additional features.
Can I still use RFID cards or contactless payment methods with the Velocicharge APP?
The new app will provide a Wallet where you can Top Up your balance to manage the transaction and experience a contactless payment. Otherwise, the RFIDs from Chargelab aren’t compatible with the new app. We will offer a new one that will be available later in 2023.
